Day 5: April evening in Fall Creek, Ithaca, NY

Today I got started a bit late in the day, and found a perfect spot for painting in Fall Creek neighborhood.  There are places in this painting where I didn't do the scene justice, but I think it comes together as a whole.

Day 4: Fayette, NY

Had a great day today in Fayette, NY, painting a mysterious stone church.  People passing by did not know much about the church other than it being "quite old."  I also got a sunburn. 

Day 3: The Bookery at the Dewitt Mall in Ithaca

Today was windy and still quite cold.  I was headed towards Ithaca and thinking of an option other than painting in my car.  The Bookery shop owner in the Dewitt Mall was kind and allowed me to paint his shop today!  I started with a tight line drawing then did my best to loosen up while painting the shelves and the light towards the interior.  Here are a few images of my set-up as well as the painting's progress, which will probably need another day. 

Day 2: Seneca Falls

Finished up this painting in Seneca Falls today!  :-)  A good day.  One down, forty-nine to go!
